- Participants have a better understanding of land and natural resource rights, and conservation issues, affecting Ips and have acquired new knowledge on best practices and available tools, and their applications at policy and practice.
- IPs in East Africa commit to a stronger solidarity for collective voices required to champion common IPs agendas at all levels.
- Increased levels of recognition and appreciation of the value of traditional institutions of IPs, and their role in governance of land and natural resources, and sustainable conservation efforts.
- Participants build consensus on common agendas, challenges and opportunities in the governance of IPs land, livelihoods development, conservation efforts which are documented and disseminated through a call to action as a tool for advocacy and policy influencing.
